The Kentucky Animal Care and Control Association was incorporated in
March, 1988, for the purpose to improve the skills, knowledge,
abilities, and image of animal control care and personnel; to improve
animal control care practices; to inform the public on the nature and
importance of animal control care work and to promote better laws and
law-enforcement methods relating to animals.
Our membership is made up of Animal Control Officers (ACO) and animal
shelter workers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky charged with the
statutory responsibility of providing animal services to our respective
jurisdictions for the sake of public health and safety.
